Suddenly, a flash of lightning hurls you back in time…

Brussels Vortex is an immersive, collaborative adventure game in the form of a 54 cards. Play solo or with friends—your choice! The rules are simple: start by reading the first card to learn how to navigate the vortex.

What makes it unique? Its dual gameplay mode. You can enjoy it at home or right on location, in the very places where the story takes place. At that point, it’s no longer just a game—it turns into an immersive urban adventure through the heart of Brussels.

Why a free online version?

Publishing—and especially distributing—a card game in tourist spots and niche stores is a complex business, and not exactly my area of expertise. So while I look for partners to help bring Brussels Vortex to life, I’ve chosen to release a digital version using the open-source tools Twine and SugarCube. It’s free to play, with no ads, and fully respectful of your personal data. Play now!
